Date: April 20, 2003The Cherry Blossom Festival in San Francisco's Japantown was a lot of fun! Basically it's a festival with a Japanese theme. The local anime store sponsors a cosplay event and even has cosplayers participate in the Cherry Blossom Parade.
It was a lot of fun meeting new people and seeing familiar faces. The parade was actually pretty exhausting. We walked from the Civic Center to Japantown with lots of weird looks along the way. :D
Reactions were from "Well this is San Francisco," to "Oh my god that's so cool!"

Well this is a Cherry Blossom festival. But we really didn't see any cherry blossoms except for some trees behind the main stage. So we took the chance to get some photos. :)

We actually had a lot of video game fighting characters come to the parade. We had characters from Soul Calibur, King of Fighters and Guilty Gear.

Oh BTW, did I mention how much I love Soul Calibur? I didn't? Well you know now. :D
