This was my first time at Ani-Magic.
I've heard so many great things about it that me and a friend decided to
head out there. It was only a 6 hour drive.
I have to say that I had a fantastic time. I got to meet so many new people
and got to meet up with some people I've met before at previous cons. Hi
Mel! Yes, this is turning into a cult. ;)
Oh and at Ani-Magic, it was the first time I went into public as the
character Zack (right) from the fighting game
Dead or Alive 2:
Hardcore for the Playstation 2. I have to say I got a lot of
interesting reactions. Many of them were very kind, for example "That's a
cool costume." and the like. There was one very funny comment that I heard,
someone yelled, "What the hell is that!" Hehe, I actually met the nut that
said that. You know who you are. ;) There was also this weird
fascination with my antenna. I actually had a group of girls come up to me
and asked if they could rub it. Heheh. There was also this really
disturbed girl who was taking
really
screwed up pictures... I'll get you one day Pheobe... :P
Of course there was also a few people that came up to me to ask what the
hell I was. :)
Another cool thing that happened was during the opening ceremonies, they
had a raffle for pre-registered guests. And guess what!! I won! Woohoo! I
got the Neon Genesis Evangelion box set! It's so cool! I need to block off
like a week to watch it though, but still! Yay!
